Tips on being in the talk of the town

Start with the basics

  • Confirm a date with your Noonday Ambassador.
  • Plan to gather and accommodate 15 or more confirmed guests (more on how to gather in a minute)
  • Spend no more than one minute deciding what to serve. Keep it simple! The accessories and the artisans' stories are the main event. Don’t worry about an elaborate spread or complex beverages. A couple bottles of wine, chips, and salsa have never disappointed anyone!
  • Decide to have fun and bring that joy to your planning, invitations, and shopping experience.
  • Enjoy the Collection. Before your show, wear any pieces you have--everywhere you go. Accessories come alive when they are styled fashionably. At your show, we will help your guests have fun by trying different combinations of products on, to see how they complement their individual look! And don’t forget to talk about how much you love the jewelry and accessories from Noonday Collection. Refer to our website for  your guests to preview our lines and find styling ideas.
  • Get ready to create a shopping experience that enables an artisan to receive a living wage for her work while simultaneously giving towards orphan care and prevention{don’t worry, your Noonday Collection representative will help with that!}!

Make some lists

  • List # 1. Who would you like to invite? May we suggest...
  • ...mom, sisters, aunts, cousins...girlfriends, co-workers, neighbors...hairstylists, accountants, mortgage lender, real estate agent, personal trainer...church friends, PTA friends, pilates class friends, book or bible study friends...Make your list! We suggest: don't leave anybody out and please, don't decide in advance that someone won't want to come. You never know who might be ready for the kind of fun and meaning they will find at a Noonday Collection Trunk Show.

  • List #2. What accessories will you purchase with your Hostess Rewards?

  • List #3. Your short grocery list for simple refreshments (or a list of friends who can bring this-or-that to share).

Invite with gusto
  • Use EVITES or whatever online (free!) tool that you know works for your community
  • We'll say it again: Invite EVERYONE you know! Think of all your different circles-- neighbors, school, church, old college friends, work friends, your kids’ teachers! Over-invite unapologetically! You are giving your guests a unique opportunity to purchase REALLY cool items and to learn about the needs of talented artisans who lack our opportunities to support their families at the same time.
  • Expect 1 in 10 invitees to attend. If "No's" start to pile up, take heart! This just means your home will have more space to host all the guests who come, and to showcase the products.
  • Follow-up your invitations with a personal phone call, especially to those who haven’t yet RSVP'd.

USE FACEBOOK
